The purpose of the program is the formation of intercultural and communicative competence of students in the process of foreign language education at a sufficient level and the level of basic sufficiency. Depending on the level of training, the student at the time of completion of the course reaches the B2 level of pan-European competence if the student has a language level at the start above the level of B1 pan-European competence.
The objectives of the program are:
• the development of students of vocabulary and linguistic features of a foreign language and the formation
• communicative and functional competence;
• the formation of intercultural competence as the ability to intercultural communication in a person, defined as a subject of intercultural communication.
• the formation of argumentation skills in a foreign language and understanding of linguistic and cultural
• features of the country of the studied language.
According to the results of mastering the program, the student has the following learning outcomes:
1) systematizes the conceptual framework for understanding the communicative intentions of the partner, the authors of texts at this level;
2) compares and selects the forms and types corresponding to the communicative intention speech/communication with an adequate type of speech logical construction;
3) adequately expresses his own communicative intentions with the correct selection and appropriate using appropriate language tools, taking into account their compliance with the socio-cultural standards of the language being studied;
4) classifies the levels of use of real facts, references to authoritative opinion; speech communicative and cognitively justified behavior;
5) reveals the patterns of development of a foreign language, paying attention to the study of stylistic originality;
6) knows the methods of linguistic description and analysis of the causes and consequences of events in texts of a scientific and social nature;
7) expresses in a foreign language possible solutions to modern problems based on the use of reasoned information;
8) evidence-based use of linguistic material with reasoned language means sufficient for this level, timely and independently corrects errors in 75% of error-free statements;
9) owns the strategy and tactics of constructing a communicative act, correctly prepares speech intonationally, relying on lexical sufficiency in the framework of speech subjects and grammatical correctness.
